Anthropological Museum

The Anthropological Museum located west of Aberdeen Bazaar (Port Blair) throws light on the island’s tribal inhabitants and has a collection of rare photographs taken in the 1960s. The museum houses the models of aborigines and their tools. The museum is closed on Mondays and gazetted holidays.

Fisheries Museum

Situated near Andaman Water Sports Complex, this museum displays species of marine life associated to the islands and found in the Indo-Pacific and the Bay of Bengal. The museum remains closed on Mondays and holidays.

Samudrika

Samudrika, a museum of Indian Navy is situated opposite to Andaman Teal House, Delanipur. This museum creates awareness among people on various aspects of oceanic environment. There is a good collection of shells, corals and a few species of colourful fishes found in these islands which are on display.

Forest Museum

The museum located at Haddo (near the zoo), offers an insight into forests activities through various scale models. The exhibits include different varieties of local wood including Padauk, Marble, Peauma, Gurjan and Satin Wood etc.
